Wieslaw Sokolowski

Wieslaw “Wesley” Sokolowski, 76, of Ludlow, passed away on April 25, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Kurkowo, Poland to the late Stanley and Agniezka (Melewski) Sokolowski. Wieslaw was a resident of the Ludlow community for over 40 years. He was an active member of the Polish American Citizens Club and dedicated parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church. Wieslaw especially loved to work on his vegetable garden.

He leaves his sons: Stanley Sokolowski, and his wife Marta, of Beaufort, SC, and Edward Sokolowski of Wilbraham; his daughters: Wesley Purdy, and her husband Raymond, of Dallas, TX, and Irene Lawless, and her husband Jim, of Belchertown; his sister, Krystyna Gasiewski, of Chicopee; and his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 5-7PM at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 assembling 9AM at the funeral home and proceeding to Immaculate Conception Church, 25 Parker St., Springfield, for a funeral mass at 10AM.
