Wiktoria Z. (Sowa) Lewinski

Wiktoria Z. (Sowa) Lewinski, 95, passed away at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer, MA, on Friday, April 30, 2021. Born in Gorlice, Poland, she was the daughter of the late Jozef and Katarzyna (Osioł) Sowa. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, and worked for many years at Rexcel, Inc. in Ludlow, MA. Wiktoria loved having family time together and always lived a selfless life by putting others before herself. She always loved playing her polka music and would sing or dance whenever the opportunity permitted. If she wasn’t seen working hard in her beautiful flower garden then she was working hard making delicious traditional polish food for her family and friends.

Wiktoria was predeceased by her loving husband, Walter S. Lewinski and also by her loving daughter Irena Lewinski. She is survived and deeply missed by her two sons and daughter, Frank Lewinski of Florida; Joseph Lewinski and wife Donna of Springfield, MA; and Irene Skoczylas of West Brookfield, MA. She also leaves behind her three loving grandchildren, Angela Pina; Michael Skoczylas and his wife Emily; and Karen Connors and her husband Michael. She is also survived by her cherished four great-grandchildren, and a loving sister, Maria Lakota of Poland.

Walk through calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 4-7pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services located at 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield, MA. Family and friends are invited to gather the following morning at 9:30am at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services and proceeding to Immaculate Conception Church at 25 Parker St., Indian Orchard, MA for a funeral mass at 10:30am.
