Zdzislaw Wojcik, 82, of Ludlow, died Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Tonia, Poland on Jan. 9, 1938, he was the son of the late Bronislaw and Katarzyna (Kochanek) Wojcik. Zdzislaw came to this country on Aug. 16, 1986, and had lived in Ludlow for more than 20 years. While living in Poland, he worked as a farmer, and then worked here as a machine operator for the Endaron Company in Holyoke for 20 years until he retired in 2004. He is survived by his wife, Alicja (Ludwika) Wojcik, a son, Zenon Wojcik and his wife Beata of Ludlow, a daughter, Dorota Wojcik of Ludlow, three grandchildren, Klaudia, Marcin and Piotr, one brother, Krzysztof Wojcik and his wife Magdalena of Poland, one sister, Zuzanna Kubaska of Poland and well as a nephew and nieces living in Chicago and Poland. Zdzislaw was the brother of the late Mieczyslaw Wojcik who died in 1991.
Calling Hours will be on Thursday, March 19, from 4-7pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield.
