Charlotte M. (Costa) Dente

Charlotte M. (Costa) Dente, 54, passed away unexpectedly at home on May 20th. Born in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of Charles and Christa (Bingnet) Costa.  She graduated from Ludlow High School Class of 1978 and worked at the Ludlow Savings Bank until 1994. She then worked at York St. Industries for 22 years as an administrative assistant, and was also employed by Fresh Acres Market. Charlotte spent many happy hours working on her gardens, which was her favorite past-time. She loved cooking and sports, especially the Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots, and admired ZZ Top. She devoted her time and creative energy to charities and the church. She was predeceased by her father Charles, and leaves to cherish her memory: her son Nicholas Molé; daughter Christa Molé; mother Christa Bingnet; sisters Catherine Costa and Corinne Costa; nieces Danielle Marie, Isabelle Rodriguez, and Tannin Costa; soon-to-be granddaughter Camryn Charlotte Molé; and her loving companion of four years Anthony Curto. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, assembling at 10 am at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave, Springfield, and proceeding to Holy Cross Church, 221 Plumtree Rd., Springfield, for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 am, followed by Rites of Committal at Island Pond Cemetery in Ludlow. Calling hours are Tuesday, May 26 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
