Condolences, oh Dear God yes but it’s not possible for me to put into words the depth of emotions I have.
She was not only my aunt but many times as much of a mother to me as my own; she watched over me and cared for me as if I were her son on so many occasions I can’t recall them all. Her concern for me and Lisa was open, honest and genuine and oh so rare. From my early days with those world famous picnics at Uncle Ted’s to the group gatherings of all the cousins at her house right or simply just Lisa and me spending a quiet weekend in her kitchen talking over the issues of life she was and always will be my second mom. How you put all of that into words I don’t know but I do know we have memories of her that remind me she was one in a million.
If we measure a successful life by an amount of concern and compassion for others, well she had those bases covered without even thinking about it long ago. From butterfly nets at age 8 then decade after decade watching over things but not interfering she was in so many ways that second mom I remember so well.

Our sincere condolences to Chris, John & Arlene. Aunt Helen was my "bummin buddy". We always had great times going places. Missed you when you moved...still missing you now. Love Andy & MaryAnn

My sincere sympathies to cousins Christine & Jan and your families. Aunt Helen was a sweet lady - I have childhood memories of visiting her on the house on the hill ....
