Nellie M. (Wolenski) Dusza, 100, passed away June 20, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Southbridge, one of 10 children of the late Andrew and Marguerite (Gasior) Wolenski. After her marriage, Nellie made her home in Indian Orchard. She was a longtime parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church. Nellie worked at the Springfield Armory, Eastern Container, Lechmere, and Tambrands. She loved 500 piece puzzles, gardening, playing cards and cooking for family get-togethers.

She leaves a son, Wayne Dusza and his wife Elizabeth of Longmeadow and a daughter, Gloria Bessette and her husband David of Ludlow; 7 beloved grandsons: Joseph, Daniel and Paul Bessette and Randy, Keith, Jason and Jeff Dusza; 9 great-grandchildren: Andrew, Ava, Katelyn, Makayla and Beau Bessette and Allie, Zachary, Ivan and Tanner Dusza; a daughter-in-law, Linda Dusza of West Warren; a sister-in-law, Florence Wolenski of Dudley and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her son, Richard Dusza; her brothers, Stanley, Walter and Frank Wolenski; her sisters, Katherine Kujawski, Anna Lejczowski, Mary Damian, Amelia Bednarz, Helen Kleczka; a step-sister, Mary Gulczynski and the father of her children, Henry J. Dusza.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 with visitation 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Indian Orchard followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery.
