I love you Tata. We will never forget you, nor will Josie. We will make sure of that. You were a great man and a patriarch to the whole family. Thank you for everything you have done for us. z Bogiem.

I was talking to my own father earlier today, and we were reminiscing (and both trying not to cry) over our memories of Stanley. I loved the man because you could just look at his hands and know he was ten times the man you (or at least, *I*) could ever hope to be. His story continually amazes me, and makes me hope that I can somehow ever be a fraction of the things he accomplished as an immigrant; and a family man; and as a man. He was (unknowingly) a grandfather to me, and the memories of laughing with him are something I will cherish until the day I eventually pass on. I will always remember being at the celebration of his 50th anniversary to Jenina, and hoping I could be the same kind of man to my own wife. He may be missed, but he will always be admired, and he sets the bar to a level that so many now are just petrified to stand up and meet. I didn't have the chance to know Stanley for my entire life, but the years I knew him, and the rest of my days are better for knowing him. I ache for those closest to him; but I just light up at the thoughts of the days I knew him for... I will miss him something awful, but will always know that I will always be a better person for having know him, shaken his hand, and embraced him.

Stanley was the best neighbor a person could hope to have! His work ethic was inspiring to say the least. We pray for comfort and strength for his family . May they have wonderful memories of a loving husband and father to share. We will never forget Stanley and his tractor.
