Ted and Gertrude have lived next-door for the past five years. My daughter and I adore them and are heart broken over his passing. We've all been so excited the last few weeks wogh the progress Gertrude has made – I'venever seen Ted so happy as he has been keeping us all up on the special dietary changes he was helping her with – it truly made him feel so good to feel like there was something he could do finally to help her. If nothing else, I hope this can give his loved ones a little piece to know that all he ever talked about was finding a cure for her. I think it was a blessing that he was able to feel hopeful again that something was making a difference. Gertrude, their children, grandchildren and all the family and friends I've had the honor to meet over the years are in our prayers.
