Joseph J. Jacek

WILBRAHAM – Joseph J. Jacek, 85, passed away on April 22nd at LifeCare Center of Wilbraham. He was born in Palmer to the late Edward and Josephine (Budzyna) Jacek. Joe worked as a plant supervisor at Rexcel Inc before retiring after 34 years there. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing, and was also a member of the Polish American Veteran's Club of Wilbraham. Joseph leaves behind: his loving wife of 63 years Helen (Wyzik); his sons, David and his wife Sharon, Daniel and his wife Suzanne, and Donald and his wife Pauline; his daughter Suzanne Torres and her husband James; his sister Betty Brozek; nine grandchildren: Jeremiah, Andrew, Michael, Kellie, Benjamin, and Colby Jacek, and Kaitlin, Melanie, and Adam Torres; and a great-grandchild, Samantha Jacek. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 28th, assembling at 8 am at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services and proceeding to Christ the King Church in Ludlow for a 9 am Liturgy of Christian Burial. Rites of Committal will then follow at 11 am at MA Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Calling hours will be held on Monday April 27th from 4 – 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
